Openshaw Design is an independent studio
founded by Lionel Openshaw,
a graduate of Goldsmiths design programme.
He works together with others,
enabling the company to
tackle projects of any
scale or specialism.

with their audiences.
We believe that simple and effective design needn’t be boring –
personality helps your project get noticed.
We’re also passionately
attentive to detail,
colour and type.
Design is a good idea
We love creating work packed with accessible ideas, narrative and wit – conceptually rich first and fashionable second. Where possible, we also enjoy developing the content of projects – such as copy writing and editing, or naming a new brand. This is under- pinned by a keen interest in language and the written word.
